Team Members
Due to the extensive design load, we split our large team into two smaller teams. Each team will be independently responsible for presenting and preparing reports for their respective components. We collaborate regularly to ensure that both teams' designs are compatible with each other's.
Team 12
Structural
Responsibilities for this team include the design and manufacture of the frame, fairing and steering assembly. These are major components which require extensive considerations in regards to compatibility so they were grouped together accordingly.
Team 13
Drivetrain
The drivetrain team's responsibilities consist of selecting an engine and engine configuration, along with other miscellaneous components such as safety, electrical, and braking. Since the engine has a major effect on the efficiency of the vehicle, the Drivetrain team has been given this as their priority.
